In its product range, the Alpha High End team has chosen a series of brands that are as qualitative in sound as they are in design. Here’s the list of this meticulous new selection.

  • JMR (Jean-Marie Reynaud) Speakers

French musical loudspeakers from manufacturer Jean-Marie Reynaud (JMR). An artisanal brand with a proven track record since 1967. A special feature of many of their loudspeakers is their ribbon tweeter. Their superb finish is also worth mentioning.

  • Raidho Acoustics Speakers

This journey began with a Dane inventing the dynamic driver in 1918. And we believe Raidho is about completing this path or journey to the ultimate experience in High End Audio. This inspires our approach to the ultimate. We make our own drivers and components – because nobody else does it the way we want. We build everything in-house – because the devil is in the details. The result is a range of products that are anything but ordinary; they don’t look – work – or sound like other speakers. It’s what makes them special. It’s what makes the music they reproduce simply extraordinary. Take them on your journey and you’ll experience extraordinary too.

  • Scansonic Speakers

Having worked with Raidho speakers for more than 12 years, we found ourselves faced with a completely new challenge when we were asked to design a new range of high-performance speakers for the Scansonic brand. From the start, we were very focused on building on all the experiences and strengths obtained from designing the Raidho speakers. At the same time, we also had to be aware of the heritage and the Nordic design tradition of the Scansonic brand. This time, the task also came with a budget and a desire to create the very best possible within financial limits. It was clear to us from the very beginning, that some core techniques from the Raidho speakers would be of importance: The speakers had to be designed around a ribbons tweeter that works with at super lightweight diaphragm that is sealed around the edges to allow for a seamless transition to the midrange region. Furthermore, they needed to be designed and developed with a speaker driver with a ridged, pistonic-type membrane, that could keep up with the ribbons tweeter.

  • Pathos Amplifier

Pathos Acoustics was founded in 1994 by three Italian pioneers: Gaetano Zanini, Gianni Borinato and Paolo Andriolo, in the city of Vicenza. A sophisticated city in northern Italy, famous for its great monuments designed by architect Andrea Palladio. The tradition of making something outstanding has continued since the days of Palladio. Today the focus in the area is on metal production, jewellery and fashion. This city still promotes innovation and invention just as it was used to at the time of Palladio. Pathos combines past, present and future, making hi-fi jewellery small masterpieces. Highly technological, and with designs and sound that leave no doubt – these products offer something absolutely unique.
