The mains connection cables (power cables) play a very important part within the hi-fi system. They must manage the variable power consumption during dynamic music passages in amplifiers, power amplifiers or active loudspeakers. In addition, they must conduct the extreme power peaks, which are intensified during conversion from alternating to direct current in the devices, to the individual hi-fi devices without delay or loss. Any “inhibited” current flow results in serious power losses at cable and contact resistances and has a negative influence on the stereo system sound. This is why the AC-1502, with very low contact resistances, was developed. In addition, a highly dense shield protects the adjacent components from strong magnetic fields and radiated interference caused by the quickly changing current increases and decreases in the power cable. The result is a hi-fi mains connection cable with an excellent price-performance ratio, which raises your stereo system to a higher sound level in terms of dynamics and detail reproduction. But despite all our love for audiophile details, safety plays a particularly important role for this cable category. For this reason, each AC-1502 power cable is carefully inspected. In addition to the function test, each cable is also subjected to an insulation and a high-voltage test. The results are recorded and each power cable is given a unique serial number.
