“If I were a rich man”
November 3 and 4, 2024
Dear audio and music enthusiasts,
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Alpha High End Brussels, we invite you to join us for our upcoming event, “If I Were a Rich Man,” on Sunday, November 3, and Monday, November 4, starting at 11 AM. To mark this symbolic milestone, we will also feature digital works from around the world by photographer Gary Fass.
Among the demonstrations offered at this show, you’ll discover the Martin Logan Neolith speakers—electrostatic transducers that, with their sophisticated design, eliminate common flaws associated with electrostatic technologies while delivering powerful bass through 15 and 12-inch woofers. Standing at 1.90 meters, the boldly designed Neolith combines polymer, phenolic resin, and leather for an immersive and captivating sound experience.
In honor of the occasion, we’ll showcase a pair of Burmester 909 Mk5 Power Amplifiers along with the revolutionary modular design of the 808 Mk5 Preamplifier.
But that’s not all! We’re also excited to present the new Wadax Studio streamer, which includes a CD/SACD player and DAC in a single chassis. Utilizing musIC technology, this device corrects decoding errors in real-time to deliver unprecedented sound quality. Its complex design, composed of 620 custom parts, optimizes performance while preserving musicality.
Of course, we couldn’t forget about vinyl! We’ll have some records for you to enjoy on the Transrotor Rondino turntable. This remarkable turntable features meticulous design and advanced technologies, including an inverted hydrodynamic bearing and free magnetic drive (FMD). Available in both bare and complete versions with the TRA9 arm and MC Figaro cartridge, it promises optimal sound quality, perfect isolation from vibrations, and smooth operation.
This is the lineup we’ve prepared for you to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our auditorium in Brussels. Now it’s time for you to choose: Sunday, November 3, from 11 AM to 6 PM or Monday, November 4, starting at 11 AM with a late-night event until 10 PM, at 21 Joseph Bens Street, 1180 Uccle (please let us know your preference).
