Overview of new brands in our range

At Alpha High End, our team is always eager to explore innovative new products and brands. In fact, we are often the first to introduce them to the hi-fi market in Belgium, much to the delight of our ever-expanding clientele.

Exceptional hi-fi brands and products in 2024

LAB 12 :

This Greek company, based in Athens for about a decade, is led by talented designer Stratos Vichos. Always driven by creativity, he focuses on high-quality products where tubes play a prominent role, all while remaining in very reasonable price ranges.

Pathos :
While the term originates from Greek and means “experience,” this Italian company was founded in 1994 by three friends turned business partners (Gaetano, Gianni, Paolo). Together, they innovated with the “Inpol” circuit, seamlessly blending refined design with exceptional sound quality.

Wadax :

This Spanish company, based in Madrid, has been at the forefront of digital-to-analog conversion development since 1997, under the leadership of Javier Guadelajara. In 2010, they launched ultra-high-end products. Recently, we added the Studio Master to our range, and we are just as impressed with its remarkable performance as ever.

Magico:

Originating from the United States, Magico is a Californian loudspeaker manufacturer founded by Alon Wolf. The groundbreaking LS construction approach of their product line has shaken the industry, earning admiration from speaker manufacturers worldwide. Thanks to their distributor, our team jumped at the chance to bring these to our auditoriums – an experience not to be missed.

Davone :

Quite different from the previous manufacturer, Davone designs loudspeakers with striking organic shapes that deliver a captivating sound experience for listeners.

Leema Acoustics :

Manufactured in the UK, these new components, distributed by a key partner, captivate us with their impactful sound. Among them, the Neutron and Graviton models stand out for their exceptional value for money.

Matrix Audio :

Originating in China, this brand has been known since 2006 for producing remarkable streamers and converters. With a refined finish, ease of use, their products, distributed by Reference Sounds and have been tested and approved by our team.

Shows at our auditoriums in 2024

Hosting events dedicated to the world of high-fidelity remains an invaluable way to showcase premium sound reproduction… and this is our primary goal. These events are ideal for staying connected with our fellow music lovers and audiophiles, fostering enriching encounters, exchanges between experts and neophytes, original demonstrations, discoveries of new products, and sharing music from all horizons – all in a consistently warm atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

The highlight of the year was undoubtedly the Cost No Object Show” in Brasschaat, where we proudly presented the best products from various renowned manufacturers. This event reached its peak with the Magico M7, a speaker from the same product line (500,000 euros per pair). During this exceptional moment, we also showcased the Dan D’Agostino Relentless series, as well as the Wadax Atlantis Reference Streamer DAC (with a budget approaching 800,000 euros).

What initially seemed like an “impossible mission” became a reality thanks to exemplary collaboration. We extend our gratitude to Frank Vermeylen, Guy Boselli, Michael Huigen, and Bill McKeegan for their invaluable acoustic advice and insightful explanations. Surpassing such an event may be challenging, but the sky is not the limit for Alpha High End!

Memorable demonstrations in Turnhout…

In March 2024, we delved into the fascinating world of the “Danish-Italian” show. The stars in the spotlight, Raidho TD2.2 and the Pathos Infol amplifier, bewitched the audience with breathtaking melodies.

Then in October, the excitement was at its peak with a flamboyant “American” show. This premiere allowed us to unveil the new Wilson Audio Watt Puppy speakers driven by Dan D’Agostino electronics, including the Progression power amplifier.

Both moments were real successes, proving once again the timeless appeal of our guests to discover exceptional sounds.

And at Alpha High End Brussels

In November, as part of the If I Were a Rich Manshow, we highlighted the iconic 150K Neolith speaker by Martin Logan, elevated by the excellence of Burmester equipment, including the 808MK5 preamp paired with two 909 MK5 mono power amplifiers. The source, powered by the Wadax Studio Master and the Transrotor Rondino for analog vinyl playback, showcased the full power of electrostatic speakers. Achieving such a remarkable sound result would have been impossible without these top-notch amplifiers and source.

The following month, we hosted a Scandinavian Show, featuring brands like Raidho and Hegel Pre & Power, along with the best streamer from Aurender. This event also included a demonstration of the more accessible Scansonic range, and using Roon, we played the same music simultaneously across different systems, allowing visitors to compare three different price ranges.
